Sochi 2014 Paralympic Winter Games Opening Ceremony March 7, 2014!
Date Posted: Monday, February 24, 2014

Sochi 2014 Paralympic Winter Games Opening Ceremony takes place March 7, 2014.
Former JMCC client and Essex/Kent Ice Bullet Genna Norton, who achieved a spot on the Canadian National Women’s Sledge Hockey Team, will not be in Sochi as planned. Due to the low numbers of teams registered, the decision was made (about a month ago) by the  2014 Paralympic Committee to not have a women’s sledge hockey competition this year in Sochi.

Two former Essex/Kent Ice Bullets, Derek Whiston and Corbin Watson, are on the Canadian Men’s National Sledge Hockey Team and are in Sochi eager to get started on the road to Gold!  These are true amateur athletes and watching them overcome barriers and excel is very inspiring and you won’t be disappointed!   Go Canada!
CBC is to cover 300 hours of the 2014 Winter Paralympics. For further details please click here.
