Augmentative Communication Clinic Receives a Generous Donation!! Date Posted: Thursday, December 6, 2012
The Sertoma Foundation of Canada has generously donated $14,000 to JMCC's Augmentative Communication Clinic. These funds will be used towards the purchase of new assessment equipment and devices, allowing our clients timely access to current technology.
The Sertoma Club supports many of our clients. They have provided funding assistance for lease payments of their communication devices as well as funding assistance for purchases of communication devices including accessible phones that are not covered under the Assistive Devices Program. Their foundation provides annual donations to agencies providing services to clients with speech and/or hearing concerns. This year they have chosen the John McGivney Children's Centre Augmentative Communication Clinic as the recipient of their donation.
JMCC is sincerely grateful for their generosity!
