Mom & son team up in the fight to Multiple Sclerosis
Date Posted: Wednesday, July 27, 2016

Marie O’Neil, a physiotherapist at JMCC, has participated in the Multiple Sclerosis Bike Tour from Grand Bend to London 14 times. For the past two years, she’s had an extra special riding partner on this 150+ km ride: her 11-year old son Colin. This year, the pair raised over 10 thousand dollars for MS research, programs and advocacy work - Way to go Marie and Colin! When asked what it means to participate in the MS Bike Tour with her son, Marie said: “I’m so proud to see him so dedicated to this ride and to this cause. As a family, we are so lucky, we have our health and we live comfortable lives. He appreciates and understands the importance of giving back!” Marie would like to thank her colleagues at the JMCC for their continued support of her ride – she couldn’t have done it without you!
