The John McGivney Children’s Centre (JMCC) provides specialized pediatric therapy services to approximately 2,700 children and youth each year from birth to 21 years who reside in Essex County. Our services are funded through the Ministry of Children and Youth and are provided free of charge for residents of Ontario.
We provide service to children who experience difficulty with everyday activities like crawling and walking, feeding, hand function and communicating as well as those with developmental disabilities, orthopedic impairments, and complex chronic illnesses. Difficulties can be due to neurological, developmental, musculoskeletal or other physical or health reasons.
Individuals, parents or legal guardians, physicians and other community agencies can make a referral by completing a referral form located on our website or by calling the Centre at 519-252-7281.
