If there is one place that should be barrier-free, it’s the John McGivney Children’s Centre. The building was built to serve only 200 over 30 years ago, and now serves more than 2,100 each year. The renovation and new 2-storey expansion maximizes the space available for clinical, family services, and assistive devices departments as well as medical clinics, administrative, education and family services programs. The square footage has been tripled to a total of 59,000 square feet of functional space, resulting in:
