At the John McGivney Children's Centre, we've been assisting children and young adults with physical and/or neurological challenges since 1978. You probably knew us as the Children's Rehabilitation Centre. As we celebrate over a quarter century of helping individuals enhance their ability to enjoy every day and grow to achieve their full potential in life, we're growing, too. With a variety of innovative new programs and personalized services available and a state-of-the-art new facility on the way, we're poised to serve our clients more effectively than ever before.
We strive to offer a comprehensive selection of family focused programs and services that are readily accessible to all children. Each program involves a multidisciplinary approach that takes into consideration both the "big picture" development plan for your child as well as the lifestyle of your family at home. By providing an integrated range of assessment, treatment, consultative, educational and support services, our goal is to be a valued partner in the development of your child. You'll also find that our dedicated team of specially-trained therapists not only work directly with our primary clients but also with family members and anyone else involved in the child's support network. The result is a true "team" approach that allows individuals to develop the skills necessary to improve their quality of life and to continue their course of ongoing growth and development outside of our facility. We believe we can make a difference in the quality of life enjoyed by both our clients and their families.
